Millenary olive trees, identity of the Sénia Territory (3/2020)

New book about the Millenary Olive Trees of the Sénia Territory, updating everything that has been achieved in the different fields: oil quality, gastronomy and oleo-tourism.

There's two more things to highlight:

  • There's a collaboration once again with the best restaurants of the Territory, which publish a recipe elaborated with millenary olive tree oil from one of the companies certified by the Guarantee Brand Aceite Farga Milenaria, that they use in their kitchen.
  • The book was made possible thanks to a collaboration between "Diputaciones" of Castelló, Tarragona and Teruel.

Before the central part of the book, that are the recipes of restaurants, there are different writings and pictures dedicated to the following matters: the farming of olives in the Sénia Territory, the cultural patrimony, the Millenary Olive Trees of the Sénia Territory, the Guarantee Brand Aceite Farga Milenaria and the 16 brands of oil that are a part of it.

After the recipes, follow other reportages about oleo-tourism, the Olive Trees ambassadors, all the awards and acknowledgements obtained, but highlighting the declaration by FAO of the Millenary Olive Trees of the Sénia Territory Agricultural System as a GIAHS (Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System). The book finishes with a summary about the rich, broad and important tourism virtues of the territory.
